I returned home last night to find my blue crayfish ("Lively The Lobster") on his back. I thought he was dead so picked him up and put him back on his feet. He was fine and carried on walking about the tank. I just thought he had stumbled to end up like that. He had been unusually alert in the afternoon, strolling about all over the tank and climbing over decorations. A few minutes after I put him back on his feet, he was lay on his back again. I looked on the internet and found that he could be molting as to do this they lie on their backs. If this is the case, does anyone know how long it will take for him to molt? I woke this morning to find "Lively" lay on his back again but he is breathing and his legs and tentacles are moving so he is still alive. I have left him on his back this time. Could he be sick? Please help, I'm very worried about him.
